The website of the Student Blogging Challenge informs us that Saturday 30th March 2019 is EARTH HOUR and proposes to create a post about this important event. It is on this subject that we worked at the beginning of this week to produce this small video. It embellishes and opens to a French-speaking public the beautiful work made on the WWF-sponsored “This Earth Hour” site.

13 réflexions sur « 1 heure pour la Terre »

  2. Bonjour !

My name is Kathleen Morris and I’m leading the Student Blogging Challenge. I hope you’re enjoying it !

Do you have any ideas for future topics ?

I really enjoyed your video about Earth Hour and thank you for your translations. Looking after our world is so important. I feel happy to see young people like you sharing that message.

    Best wishes,
    Kathleen

“Animals are endangered. How we need to save them ?” asked Leo : we don’t have the answer, but it will quickly be necessary that the Mankind finds an effective solution !
“What did you do to create that ? It was amazing !” asked Leo : we completed the Australian WWF video about the “Earth hour 2019”.

  4. Reflection on protect mother nature !
Protect mother nature yes protect her but we can have eco-friendly stuff like windmills and biodegradable stuff which can be good for the environment.
But on the other hand that stuff is very rare and even computers that you are touching now they take 2 million years to biodegrade ! Tinfoil does not debiograde at all !
The fact is that how many trees we are cutting down is stunning, even though most of them are pines there can be a series of Pohutukawa trees along with some 1000 year old rain forests which stunned me.
We must protect mother nature to protect ourselves because if we kill nature we die because we are nature.

  5. WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
I like how they show endangered animals like PANDAS and ORCAS (I think that Orcas are endangered).
I also like how they put nature shorts in the video and say we need to help endangered animals like we should.

WHAT WE NEED TO DO ABOUT IT (OBVIOUSLY)
Conservation for endangered animals (not have a conversation with them)
If you ever find an endangered animal DON’T HARM IT, ARM IT.
    (please translate this into French).
